Backlink Solutions Update

You have seen a couple of posts about Backlink Solutions here.

This is an update and a little more information about how it works. Stay tuned for the RESULTS post sometime next week.

  • Backlink Solutions has an odd entry with a double login. There are lots of boxes and forms and drop down menus in the back office and work area. So if you are looking for very user friendly this is not it. First you have to figure out which drop down menu has what you want and then follow the links to get there. THEN comes the learning curve about what works in which of the multiple available tools and boxes.  It nearly drove me crazy for a few hours one day. So I stopped. I returned the next day and tried again.
  • This time with my notes and minimal experience in hand and mind I got to the right places much more easily. Shorter learning curve. I still found some difficulty with some of the tools. But once I understood what they were trying to do… or rather… have ME do, I found my own way to use the tools effectively. Maybe someday I will write them out and sell them to newbies!
  • I will tell you that at every new step I crashed into another learning curve.  But I stayed with it. People have told me I am a determined person. I agree. I am wondering if I simply have a different style of learning than the guys who put this together. There is no doubt they assembled a good program. Often the folks who put things together are not the best ones to teach how to use it.

All this aside…

I have been using Backlink Solutions now for a little while and even though my decision is still pending on HOW to recommend it or NOT. As an article writer, I am a little befuddled because the terms of membership are clearly opposed to outsourcing.  Or so it seems. They talk about how easy it is to outsource but in their membership terms of use it says clearly

Using this service for third party clients is strictly prohibited. To me that seems to be a contradiction.

I see they have a built in outsourcing program. Perhaps that explains the apparent contradiction.

Not only do you write short articles in their format to submit to their blog network, but those posts get linked to their social network as well. So it is like having a boost in the ranks both from the social and from the posting of blogs. That is an interesting twist for an innovative backlinking service that tries to do all and be all for its members. These guys are pulling out all the stops.

I shall watch and wait. I shall keep tabs on my results and let you know what I think sometime soon.
